FAQ’s

  • Each home is different, and the greater the level of detail in the home, the longer the process can take. We work diligently, without compromising quality to make sure each Fireside Home is built to the standard our clients have come to expect out of a Fireside Home. Most homes can be completed in a 6-12 month timeframe.

  • While there is a lot of disagreement about this in our country today, the correct answer is in fact the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Go Irish!

  • We typically build in a 45 minute radius of our office in Middlebury. This includes Elkhart, St Joseph, Kosciusko, & Lagrange Counties in Indiana, as well as Cass, Berrien, and St Joseph Counties in Michigan. We do a lot of building on acreage in Middlebury, Bristol, Goshen, & Elkhart as well as Southwestern Michigan. We also do a lot of building around the lakes in Michiana. In the past few years, we have done projects on: Diamond Lake, Baldwin Lake, Long Lake, Coverdale Lake, Indiana Lake, Shavehead Lake, Birch Lake, Eagle Lake, Christiana Lake & Simonton Lake. We have also done many projects up and down the Elkhart River and St Joe River.

  • Another controversial topic… but depending on who at Fireside you ask, you will likely get different answers… but if you are in Shipshewana, I highly recommend swinging by Vanilla Bean! If you are in Goshen, The Chief is the only option you need. Flavor Freeze is a long time staple in Elkhart, and if you find yourself riding the Pumpkin Vine trail in Middlebury, I’d take a pit stop at Mooey’s for a pretzel and a dip!

  • A lot! A home is the biggest investment most of us will make in our lifetimes. Each home is different, and there are about 10,758 different factors that can affect the price of a home. It is best to sit down with one of our experts to discuss the level of finish you are looking for, and let us give you a rough idea of what to expect from a cost perspective.
